RESEARCH EXPERIENCE
- synthesis of new organic ligands [phosphorus ligands with EPNPE skeleton, where E = chalcogen, and SPNSO skeleton, respectively; and (C,N) and (N,C,N), pincer ligands] and their structural characterization using appropriate methods (1H, 13C NMR, elemental analyses, mass spectrometry, X-ray diffraction studies)
- synthesis of new inorganic and organometallic compounds which contain Zn, Cd, Sb, Hg, and / or Pd atoms, under inert atmosphere, using Schlenk techniques, using as intermediates Grignard reagents or lithium derivatives
- solution behaviour of the new inorganic and organometallic compounds was performed using multinuclear NMR studies at variable temperature and bidimensional correlated spectra (1H,1H COSY, 1H, 13C HSQC, 1H, 13C HMBC)
- solid-state structures of new organometallic compounds were unambiguously revealed using single-crystal X-ray diffraction studies
- synthesis and structural characterization of some double-stranded macrocycles with carbon skeleton in the belt region of a C84 fullerene
- solid phase synthesis, structural characterization (RP HPLC, MALDI-TOF-MS) and kinetic studies on active peptides and aza-peptides
-application of cell-penetrating peptides on delivery of peptides, nucleic acids into specific cultured cells and in animal models
