I have worked on my Ph.D thesis entitled "Role of Immunological and Non Immunological Genetic Variants and their Clinical Relevance in Recurrent Pregnancy Loss" in Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences (SGPGIMS), Lucknow and Bundelkhand University (B.U), Jhansi, India. My thesis work was based on the molecular analysis of genetic variants and their possible role in the maintenance of pregnancy. Most of my research work focused on investigating the role of various gene polymorphisms (SNPs) in the subjects suffering from recurrent spontaneous abortions. I have published 17 papers in peer reviewed scientific journals (eg.: Hum Reprod. PubMed PMID: 19279038; Fertil Steril. PMID: 23062580; Int J Gynaecol Obstet. PMID: 19327769, Arch Gynecol Obstet. PubMed PMID: 19116725; Mol Hum Reprod. PMID: 19892789; Reprod Biomed Online. PMID:21565555; Cytokine. PMID:21820915 etc). A few papers have been communicated, i.e. they are under review, along with few more that are under the writing process. During my doctoral training, I have acquainted myself with several molecular techniques including extensive training in DNA and RNA Isolation, primer designing, DNA sequencing, gene expression analysis, automated fragment size analysis, SnapShot PCR, RFLP, SSCP, ARMS-PCR, SDS-PAGE, Western Blotting etc. I have worked independently on different software packages like Sequence analysis software, Clustal, PopGene, Arlequin, SPSS, Instant Graph pad, Instant PRISM, Arleqin, Popgene, Meta Analyst, Haploview.;
