Additional information
Current research and consultancy is on the operationalisation of concepts for the analysis of identity (Identity Structure Analysis: ISA) using computer software, and their application on several fronts:
societally to issues of occupational stress and entrepreneurial enterprise; and
cross-culturally to issues of development and redefinition of ethnic and national identity.
This research uses, inter alia, the language of algebra in order to add clarity to the conceptualisation of psychological concepts.
Supervision to successful completion of 25 PhD’s all using ISA across a wide spectrum of topics, each examined by an external examiner with professional expertise in the chosen topic. Continuing supervision of research students. Internal and external examining of research degrees at the Universities of Ulster, London, Manchester, Luton, Helsinki, Hong Kong, and Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
