I am Rasul Niazmand Bilandi, a graduate student of Naval Architecture from Persian Gulf University, one of the Universities in Iran. I have started my BSc studied in field of ship engineering in 2009 at Petroleum University Technology and then received admission to MSc from Persian Gulf University.
After my graduation, I employed at Eurisco Consulting Srls, an Italy based Startup Company. I was a remote CFD engineer. For this company, I carried out simulation projects with the Siemens CD-Adapco Star CCM+ software. These projects include: bulbous bow optimization, double and single stepped planing hull optimization, Resistance & Self-Propulsion Test, Hull & appendages optimization, Response in waves and comfort analysis, Analysis of interaction between propeller-hull and exhaust-gas, Seakeeping & Manoeuvring. Also, I'm worked as a field engineer for the backfilling project and ROV project on a temporary basis at deep sea offshore international Company (DP vessel, offshore company). Moreover, I worked as a Lecturer in Numerical Computation and Computer Programming courses for bachelor degree students at Persian Gulf University. Now, I work as a PhD candidate and researcher at Estonian Maritime Academy of Tallinn University of Technology. Currently, I work on the hydrodynamics of marine vehicles, smart ships, and fuel efficiency.
