Sagar Arepally
Dr. Sagar Arepally obtained his master’s degree in chemistry from Osmania University, India, in 2009. He began his career teaching undergraduate and postgraduate chemistry courses at U.G and P.G. College, from 2009 to 2012. In 2013, he joined the Department of Chemistry at the Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad (IITH) for his doctoral research in Synthetic Organic Chemistry, completing his Ph.D. in 2019. After completing his Ph.D., Dr. Arepally worked briefly in the API R&D sector, followed by postdoctoral research at Pusan National University, South Korea, where he further advanced his expertise in organic synthesis. He then moved to the UK to join Prof. Thomas Wirth’s group at Cardiff University as a postdoctoral researcher, where he currently works as a Research Associate. His research focuses on flow electrochemistry, electroorganic synthesis, and sustainable reaction methodologies.
