Mohit Vaishnav
I am a postdoctoral researcher in the Applied Artificial Intelligence Group at Tallinn University of Technology (TalTech). My research lies at the intersection of artificial intelligence, computer vision and cognitive science, with a focus on visual reasoning, attention, memory and multimodal learning. I investigate how AI systems integrate perception and reasoning, and how their ability to generalise can be evaluated and improved. My work examined the role of attention and memory in abstract visual reasoning and contributed to computational architectures and benchmarks for studying these capabilities. My current research focuses on evaluating vision-language models, distinguishing perceptual limitations from reasoning failures, and developing multimodal agents guided by attention and memory. Alongside my academic work, I am co-founder and CEO of Kimova AI, where I apply AI to cybersecurity compliance and audit automation.
