Teenistuskäigu lisainfo
Tööks viimastel aastatel on mõõtmised, konsultatsioonid elektromagnetväljade, optilise kiirguse, valgustuse ja müra alal. Teaduslik uurimistöö keskendub elektromagnetväljadele, optilisele kiirgusele ja valgustusele. Elektromagnetväljade alal uurimistöö kogemus 10 aastat. Uurimistöö keskmeks on nimetatud füüsikaliste ohutegurite põhjustatud tervisemõjud ning riskihaldus. 2012-2014 Euroopa Liidu elektromagnetväljade seadusandluse väljatöötamine ja analüüs. 2015-2016 kõnealuse ELi direktiivi baasil Eesti riikliku seadusandluse väljatöötamine. Teadustöö põhisuundadeks viimastel aastatel on tööalasest ekspositsioonist tingitud tervisemõjude hindamine ning mobiilside (mobiilse andmeside) riskihaldus. ;

Additional career information
Tarmo has been researching electromagnetic fields for 10 years. The main fields of his research are electromagnetic fields, their induced health effects and their risk management. For the past 3 years Tarmo has been involved in European Union's electromagnetic fields' legislation analysis and formulation as a national expert.
His recent years in research have focused on mobile communications (mobile networking) risk management issues. ;
