Creative work
During my studies at the University of Pisa, Italy, I undertook theater classes and training on the backstage process of setting up a theater performance. I was trained on ways to developing ideas and different styles for play writing, acting, etc.
Therefore, after receiving this training, I decided to join projects for 'teaching theater' at primary schools. This work lasted one year, after I completed my studies in 1999.
This work has enabled me to self-reflect on my own teaching skills and to develop my didactic methods with the students.;
During my MRes I developed quantitative research methods, such as semi-structured interviews and participant observation in accordance with the ethics guidelines at the University of Aberdeen. I gained experience in documenting events and interviews with video and audio recordings and extensive knowledge of ATLAS.ti for qualitative research and of SPSS for quantitative research. ;
