Additional career information
My PhD dissertation explores indie and hobbyist videogame development practices, focusing on the use of game creation tools and cultural diversity found therein. My work for MEDIT primarily concerns the micro-contexts of digital media creation (particularly videogames) and the emergence of innovation in such contexts. I also teach in the Digital Learning Games Master's curriculum. Previously, I have worked as a technical writer, interpreter, and instructor of Japanese. I am also an aspiring videogame developer.;
