Projekti eesmärgiks on pakkuda Euraasia regiooni sh Armeenia, Aserbaidžaani, Valgevene, Gruusia, Kasahstani, Kõrgõzstani, Moldova, Tadžikistani, Türkmenistani ja Usbekistani doktorantidele ja teadlastele rahvusvahelist kogemust, juhendamist ja enesetäiendamise võimalusi lühiajaliste uurimisvisiitide kaudu Tartu Ülikoolis. Projekti laiem eesmärk on arendada välja poliitikauurijate võrgustik Euraasia regioonis. Projekti finantseeritakse Avatud Ühiskonna Fondi Euraasia Programmist.
The aim of the project is to offer research supervision, professional development opportunities and international experience to PhD students and researchers from the Eurasia region (defined as Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan) at the University of Tartu. The broader purpose of the program is to develop a network of researchers studying politics and policy in the Eurasia region. The grant is made as part of the activities of the Eurasia Program of the Open Society Foundations.
