Teema: Õpetajakoolitus jätkusuutliku arengu valdkonnas. Projekti töö viiakse läbi tegevusuuringuna, kus Tallinna Ülikooli õppejõud viivad enda poolt õpetatavatesse kursustesse sisse jätkusuutlikuse dimenssiooni ja rakendavad nende õpetamisel aktiivõppe meetodeid. Töö käigus saab anda hinnangu õpetamis-õppimismeetodite tõhususele.
The EduBalt Project will develop the capacity of teacher education institutions in Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania with competences that will empower teachers and learners in the schools to assume active roles in addressing and resolving local and regional sustainable development challenges. The project works together with the faculties of education at the larger universities in the three countries. Overall objective is to provide guidance on four dimensions of ESD: 1. Learning content: e.g. how to integrate critical issues, such as biodiversity, disaster risk reduction (DRR), and sustainable consumption and production (SCP), into the teacher education programmes. 2. Pedagogy and learning environments: how to design teaching and learning in an interactive, learner-centred way that enables exploratory, action-oriented and transformative learning. 3. Learning outcomes: support to promote learning core competencies, such as critical and systemic thinking, collaborative decision-making, integrated problem solving and taking responsibility for present and future generations. 4. The overall purpose of societal transformation: demonstrate and provide orientation on how transformative pedagogies develop such competencies and spell out relevant methodologies and how to empower learners at any age to transform themselves and the society they live in.
