Projekti eesmärgiks on toetada Jordaania ülikoolide kvaliteedijuhtimissüsteemi arendamist, kaasates kohalikke valdkonda reguleerivaid ametiasutusi. Projekti tulemusena valmib Euroopa partnerite poolt välja töötatud mudel, mida Jordaania ülikoolide kvaliteedijuhtimissüsteemide arendamisel aluseks võtta. Tegemist on parimate praktikate ning kogemuste vahetamise projektiga, mille tulemusena tõuseb Jordaania kõrgharidussektori võimekus kvaliteedijuhtimise korraldamises.
"The focus of the project is to address the “Management of Quality Assurance” in Jordanian universities by building the capacity of the “Quality Assurance Bureaus”, established to ensure the provision of effective, transparent, and consistent evidence that can confirm, to national authorities and other stakeholders, that each HEI is meeting its responsibilities in the execution of its role and achieve its goals, and can demonstrate that it meets, its mission, vision, purpose, activities and, in particular, the quality of the education provided to students. QABs will also contribute to internal dissemination of best practice and latest innovations in the fields of quality management, assurance and enhancement and pedagogical developments. The wider objective is to support improvement of internal quality assurance in higher education institutions (HEIs) in Jordan by targeting the management and effectiveness of HEI’s Quality Bureaus/departments. The project will achieve this by these specific objectives: 1. Complete comparative analyses of current QA practices and outputs from HEIs against the expectations of the new Jordanian Higher Education Accreditation Council’s standards, and their equivalent regional and international expectations. Analyses the extent and methods by which QA agencies in Europe provide support for (their) HEIs and their development and implementation of internal QA capacities and measures 2. Develop a draft model for the internal management of QA by QBs to best align HEI’s achievement to HEAC and international (European) Standards and Guidelines 3. Pilot the draft model in examples of different types of HEIs 4. Analyse the effectiveness of the model to inform its completion 5. Develop a training programme, including for expert evaluators, to promote the model and enhance its impact 6. Analyse the likely benefit of outcomes on quality enhancement in the promotion of mobility and employability. "
