Uurimistöö eesmärgiks on puitkonstruktsioonidealase teabe suurendamine. Traditsioonilise puidust karkass-seinte ja vahelagedega hoonete vastupanu tulekahjuolukorra môjuritele sôltub puitelemente kaitsvate kattematerjalide kaitseomadustest. Euroopa nôuete kohaselt vôib konstruktsioonide tulepüsivust tôestada tulekatsete abil vôi teoreetiliste arvutusmeetoditega analüütilisel moel. Tulekatsed on töömahukad ja kallid ning seotud ainult katsetatava konstruktsiooni konfiguratsiooniga. Seetôttu on majanduslikult kasulik arvutusmeetodite täiustamine ja arendamine. Käesolev uurimistöö tegeleb erinevate katte- ja isolatsioonimaterjalide (kipsplaadid, magneesiumsilikaatplaadid, krohv, mineraalvill) kaitsva môju hindamisega ning vastavate parameetrite määramisega puitkonstruktsioonide tulepüsivuse arvutusmeetodite jaoks.
The aim of the research work is to increase the knowledge about timber structures. Fire resistance of the traditional timber frame walls and floors is influenced by the protective properties of claddings and insulation materials. According to the European rules and requirements fire resistance of structures can be proved by fire testing or by analytical way using theoretical design methods. Full scale fire tests are time and money consuming and related only to the tested configurations of the structure. Therefore the development and improvement of theoretical design methods is economically beneficial. Planned research project is dealing with evaluating the effect of different claddings and insulation materials (gypsum boards, magnesium silicate boards, plasters, mineral wool) and providing parameters of the materials to include them in the design methods.
