Toni Čerkez
Toni Čerkez holds an IB diploma from United World College in Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina, where she is from. She received a Bachelor of Arts (magna cum laude) in sociology, anthropology and international relations (IR) from Lake Forest College in May 2017. Since then, he has obtained a master's degree at the Central European University of Hungary (IR) (with honors) and a doctorate at the University of Aberystwyth (highest grade) in international politics (highest grade).Toni's research is considered with relative and critical theories of IR, with a particular focus on anthropocene studies, political ontology of technology (predictive algorithms, AI, and cybernetics), cosmological approaches, and de-colonial knowledge (s) in IR. In addition, Toni is interested in political theory, especially the thoughts of Hannah Arendt, Günther Anders, Yuk Hui and Bruno Latour, as well as the wider philosophy of technology. He is fluent in German and English, in addition to that he is also proficient in German and Lithuanian at an average level.
